Jerome “Romie” Thomas Nelson, age 77, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. Private family interment has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
Romie was born to parents Einer and Bessie (Moser) Nelson in Geneva, MN, on June 7, 1947. He worked as a janitor at George’s of Geneva until retirement. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Romie is survived by nephews Lonnie (Sharlene) Nelson, Ellendale, MN, and Mike (Mary) Nelson, Howard Lake, MN; niece Lori (Scott) Obernolte, Sheldahl, IA; and sister-in-law Anna Nelson, Owatonna, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Richard and Harvey Nelson.
