Elizabeth Ratigan

Elizabeth Jane Ratigan, age 89, of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Mrs. Ratigan was born on August 13, 1936 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to the late Alvie Arnold and Thora Jensen Arnold. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother, Alvie Arnold, Jr. She celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary with Duane on October 16, 2025.

 

Survivors include her husband, Duane Ratigan, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Patricia Ratigan; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Dwain Myers; grandchildren, Noah Curran, Joshua Ratigan, and Daniel Ratigan.

 

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. Richard Beam will officiate.

 

The family will receive friends from 1 – 1:45 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Barrett Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
