What do you wear on dress-up day?

All the students of NRHEG got to dress up at school for their Homecoming Week. They pick a winner every day and the winner gets points for their team. On Monday, the dress-up day was country vs. country club. I think there were a lot more people dressed as country club. I didn't really participate in this dress-up day because I forgot about it, unfortunately. What you would typically wear on this dress-up day is boots, a cowboy hat, jeans, flannel, and some people wore their animal-showing numbers on their back, for if you were dressing for the country. If you were dressing, country club girls typically wear an athletic skirt, a compression shirt, Birkenstocks or white Nikes, a crewneck sweater, and a white or black sun visor. The boys typically wore khaki shorts or athletic shorts, a polo shirt, tennis shoes, and sun visors. They had a school assembly where they met their Homecoming Court. They dressed up to support their school’s Homecoming week. The second day was Tropical Tuesday. Everybody typically wore a lei, Hawaiian shirt, and sunglasses. This day, there were a lot of participants. I wore a shirt and a lei. On Tuesday, they had a volleyball tournament. They were very fun games to watch and cheer on from a student’s perspective. On Wednesday, everybody wore pajamas. They ranged from grandma nightgowns to unicorn onesies. I wore plaid pajama pants and a black hoodie that matched the sweater. The winner was wearing a grandma wig and a nightgown. On Thursday, the dress-up day was color wars. Seniors were pink. Juniors were blue. Sophomores wear purple. Freshmen were gray. 8th graders were orange. 7th graders were brown. I wore a purple shirt and plaid pajama pants that were purple. A lot of people participated in this dress-up day. I think that the best participating grades were sophomores, freshmen, or juniors. On Friday, the dress-up day is school spirit. So you wear the sports gear or school colors which are black, red, and white. There is not a lot of actual school that day, because there is a parade. In the parade, the sports teams and clubs hand out candy and walk around the city of New Richland. It is very fun and inclusive for all age groups. The homecoming football game is on Friday and it starts at seven. The theme for the game is school spirit. After the football game, there is a dance. The theme this year is slumber party. The admission cost is $3 per person and $5 per couple.
