Janice Lieberg

Janice Marie Lieberg died June 15, 2024 in Rochester East Health Services, Rochester, MN. Jan was born July 30, 1947 in Roseau, MN to Lillian (Novotny) and Earl Lieberg.

 

When she was in grade school, the family moved to Ellendale, MN, where she graduated from Ellendale High School. After high school Jan attended and graduated from Mankato State and began a very successful career with Federated Insurance, based in Owatonna, MN.

 

Sometime during her employment with Federated, she experienced a brain aneurysm which led to memory loss. This resulted in the need to live in a nursing home, where she lived until the present.

 

Jan is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brothers Richard, Sheldon, Gerald, and David. She is survived by brothers Jerome (Bonnie) of Stillwater, MN; Dennis (Kathy) of Grand Forks, ND and sister Karin of Rochester, MN.

 

Burial will take place at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
