Radio Link Internet announces cessation of operations
ELLENDALE, MN — June 3, 2026 — Radio Link Internet (RLI), a pioneering local internet service provider based in Ellendale, Minnesota, announced today that it officially shut down operations on June 1, 2026, and has filed for bankruptcy protection. For the past 31 years, RLI has been a cornerstone of the local community. Founded at a time when no other providers were willing to invest in the area, RLI stepped up to deliver a much-needed, vital service, connecting families, businesses, and local institutions when no one else would. Over three decades, RLI navigated the rapidly shifting landscape of digital communications.
However, due to a recent downturn in support for local communications providers, coupled with a shifting community response regarding RLI’s presence in the area, the decision was made to dissolve the business. "I want to extend my deepest, most sincere gratitude to the loyal customers who have toughed it out with us on this wonderful journey," said Daniel Petsinger, former Owner of Radio Link Internet. "It has been an honor to serve this community for over thirty years, and I am incredibly proud of the bridge we built when this area needed it most." Effective as of the June 1st closure, all corporate communications channels—including all telephone lines, email addresses, and company websites—have been permanently disconnected. All inquiries, outstanding claims, or demands regarding Radio Link Internet must be directed to the court handling the dissolution. Creditors and parties in interest should direct their correspondence and filings to the court administration.
