Otisco home total loss to fire

A fire occurred Thursday night at the home of Trent Bramer in Otisco Township. The house is located off County Road 5 and was deemed a total loss. No one was injured. Unofficially the structure fire appears to have originated in the garage before spreading to the rest of the house.
 
The following agencies assisted: Waseca Fire Department, along with departments from New Richland, Owatonna, Ellendale, Waldorf, and Janesville; also assisting were the Waseca County Sheriff Office, Dispatch and The State Fire Marshal Office.
 
“Many hands and tankers were needed in the cold temperatures,” a statement from Waseca Fire stated.
 
A GoFundMe campaign was started to support the family.
 
Bramer, who lost his home and all his belongings, is a single dad with two young daughters.
