Below are some some student statements about what they liked most about Snow Week:
Hailey Deniz-Clark: My favorite Snow Week activity was coronation. I liked it because the two people I voted for won. I was super happy that Danny won. Me and Danny also won the rhyming day.
Orion Bass: My favorite Snow Week activity is kinda hard to pick just one. I loved it when we got to see the King and Queen. We didn’t do stuff like that in Owatonna. I also loved the last activity involving the teachers. They all had fun, and them having fun made me have fun. Normally I’m not used to activities since my school never did that. Although, they did have way more crazy ideas like dunking the principal in a pool of water when we hit a button.
Kaleb Hueghes: My favorite snow week activity has to be pirates and ships. It was very interesting to watch. I would have done it when they asked if people wanted to, but my back hurt. It was cool to watch. It was a lot of fun.
Brody Mudgett: My favorite Snow Week activity was the bean bag tournament with Isaac and Kaleb. Me and Isaac got 4th in the tournament. Then me and Kaleb got 4th also. I was doing really good.
Melania Bass: My favorite activity was ships and sailors. My second favorite activity was the lip sync battle. I liked it because the crowd sang along. I like the ships and sailors because they fell on the floor. I also liked how they ran back and forth.
Clara Buendorf: I had three favorite Snow Week activities. My first favorite was the coronation. My second was seeing the snow court do an obstacle course. Also, my third was on Thursday when the students played ships and sailors. I had a blast this week.
Hailey Raab: This Snow Week was really fun. I had two favorite activities. They were when we played bean bags and ships and sailors. I thought that it was very funny watching everyone play ships and sailors. These were my favorite things this week.
Dayton Smith: My favorite Snow Week activity was the assemblies because classes were short, and I liked watching the games. I am glad Danny won because his is really cool. Everyone loves Danny.
Kylie Olson: I had a blast this Snow Week. The activities were very fun, but my favorite was ships and sailors. It was very fun to participate in. It was very funny to watch. It got people involved instead of sitting and watching.
Quen Meyering: My favorite Snow Week activity was the assembly. It was fun watching. The pirate activity was fun to watch. It was funny to watch the teachers get involved.
Peyton Curtis: NRHEG School had an action-packed Snow Week last week, the week kicked off with a fun contest between the elected Snow Court members. The highlight came on Tuesday with the coronation, crowning Danny Deniz Clark and Malonna Wilson as the king and queen. Wednesday brought heated bean bag tournaments for high school students, while Thursday saw everyone, students and teachers, engaging in entertaining games. The grand finale on Saturday was the Snow Dance, concluding a week filled with excitement. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, students embraced the spirit of the event with creative dress-up days throughout the week. NRHEG's Snow Week was a blast, from lively contests to crowning our king and queen, topped off with a royal Snow Dance. It was a week of pure fun, creating memories students will be talking about for ages.
