New Richland Area Foundation receives donations and memorials

The New Richland Area Foundation would like to extend a huge thank you to all who purchased flags and participated in our “Support Your Flag” fundraiser this summer. It was a contest for businesses to see who could sell the most flags. NR Liquor Company won that contest, bringing in $161 and received a framed Jim Hansel “Sundown Cabin” print. Other businesses who participated in the contest were The Willows, Riverview Golf Course, RJ’s in Ellendale and Hartland University. Along with those businesses, we received donations from Arcadian Bank in Hartland, Keen Bank in Ellendale/Waseca and a matching donation of $500 from State Bank of New Richland. Sales and bank donations totaled $1,416.
The NRAF would also like to thank the family of David and Karen Warke for requesting that all memorials be designated to the NRAF. There were 22 memorials for a total of $880.
