Good Steward Consulting, a leading provider of public outreach and community engagement services for utility-scale renewable energy developments and transmission, is proud to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
Founded in 2016, the company has grown from a single-person operation into a team of 32 full-time professionals supporting projects across the United States. Over the past decade, Good Steward Consulting has established itself as a trusted partner in helping communities and stakeholders navigate the development of renewable energy infrastructure.
Since its founding, the company has achieved consistent year-over-year growth, expanded its national footprint, and maintained strong financial performance. Notably, Good Steward Consulting has never posted a loss and has operated without outside financing, including during periods of economic uncertainty such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
To date, the firm has supported projects representing over 26 gigawatts of energy, worked across more than 20 states, engaged with 115 rural communities, and assisted more than 5,450 landowners and farm families nationwide.
“Our focus from the beginning was to build a company that could meet the needs of communication in rural environments, ensuring that renewable energy projects and infrastructure effectively communicate with their host communities to preserve the right for farmers to participate in energy production,” said Mariah Lynne, CEO/Founder. “Reaching this milestone is a direct reflection of our team’s commitment and the values we bring to our work every day.”
The company’s culture is grounded in its core values—Grit, Resolve, Accountability, Creativity, and Energy (GRACE)—which guide its approach to client service and community engagement.
As demand for renewable energy and transmission continues to grow nationwide, Good Steward Consulting remains committed to supporting thoughtful, transparent engagement processes that help communities and landowners make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.
“This milestone is not just about looking back—it’s about continuing to build for the future,” added Lynne. “We are proud of what we’ve accomplished and excited for what lies ahead.”
