Former Geneva resident and current Las Vegas performer, Jonny Bird, has won the First Place NAMPA Award for Personal Essay of the Year.
The North American Mature Publishers Association (NAMPA) awards publishers and writers nationwide each year in a variety of magazine categories.
Bird has been the Entertainment Director and a monthly columnist for the Vegas Voice Magazine since 2024, and won this award in his first submission.
Bird also won the prestigious Las Vegas Weekly Magazine's "Best of Vegas 2021 - Lounge Performer"
Currently, Bird is on his yearly three-month tour across America, with over 75 shows booked from Arizona to Florida.
