Four decades of service

After many years as a postal carrier for the New Richland post office, Shelly Moxon has retired.

Moxon’s career spanned parts of five decades, beginning as a part-time mail carrier in 1981. In 1986 she moved to full time.

After a tenuous ‘22-’23 fighting medical issues, a return to work is not possible for Moxon.

Moxon has the following message to share:

“To the patrons of Route One, New Richland.

It’s true, I am retired.

A huge thank you for your kindness and support through the years. Especially during the holidays, the weather, and vehicle related issues.

I thoroughly enjoyed my career and am so blessed.”
