Favorite parts of second semester at NRHEG

These are writings from various students about their favorite things during 1st semester. The student who wrote the article is listed prior to what they wrote.

Deven Parpart: I had some favorite things from this semester. I love how I always got my work in for every class. I didn’t have any missing assignments. I also love going down to wrestling after school, which usually puts me in a better mood. I liked all of the teachers I had this semester.

Tatum Thibodeau: Some of my favorite things this semester was getting good grades. I set up a high standard for myself, and I got to those expectations. I also focused on myself and set time before bed everyday to pray with God. I really enjoyed being in classes with my friends. There are many things I have enjoyed and experienced this semester. I can’t wait to keep growing as a person and enjoy my time in high school before it is all over.

Maddy Bogue: Things I liked this semester was getting good grades. I also kept up on my work so that felt good. I liked when I got to do really challenging stunts. I also enjoyed having new teachers, and having fun in class with friends.

Caden Christopher: My favorite thing this semester was probably study hall or choir. Why study hall was one of my favorite things is because it has fun people to be around, and it wasn’t boring. Choir was also my favorite because singing is fun to do, but we also get free days every Friday. Health was another class I enjoyed because it had cool topics to learn about. The best part was being able to go home at the end of the day.

Hunter Woodham: My favorite thing this semester was probably the Native American stuff we did in English class. I also liked how we started talking about Gengis Khan.

Clara Buendorf: This semester has been different because we are now in high school. Some fun things I did this semester was going to Boise, getting my farmers permit, having fun playing volleyball and basketball. I also had an amazing Christmas.

Khaiden Madson: This semester feels like it flew by. One of my favorite things this semester was Christmas break. Here are two reasons why Christmas break was my favorite thing that happened this semester. Reason number one is that I didn’t have any responsibilities over the holiday, and I could play video games and relax. Reason number two is I got to be away from school and homework and be with my family.

Melania Bass: One of my favorite things was reading my quarter book. My second favorite thing was making a pinch pot in ceramics. My third favorite thing was walking the track. I visited my sister. I read many books.

Alexia McGannon: My favorite thing this semester was probably Homecoming week. I liked getting to do all the fun stuff and being with my friends. I also liked going and getting to watch the game, and doing the party after. It was a lot of fun.

Isaac Bauleke: My favorite thing this semester was school. I also liked the food. I liked learning about the Holocaust. My favorite class is Spanish. My favorite breakfast is donut day.

Justin Beauvais: My favorite thing this semester was reading the quarter books in English. I found my book very interesting. It had a lot of different things going on. I also enjoyed basketball, which started about a month and a half ago. I really like it. I was having fun until I got hurt.

Kyah Quillen: I loved learning more about WWII and learning more about what I didn’t already know. I also liked reading Frankenstein. I also liked just learning new things, and meeting new people and teachers.

Kaleb Hughes: My favorite part of the year had to be health class. It was an interesting class, and it was fun. Also lunch was my favorite because there was really good food. Then there was gym class, which was fun because we did games and worked out. I liked when we did poems because they were fun and dumb.

Hailey Clark: My favorite thing this semester was getting good grades. These classes have been pretty easy so that is good. I like the book I got to read this past quarter. I liked my first quarter book too. I also how Mrs. Pederson has a back room where students can read.
