These descriptions of the project were written by the group with the winning amendments. All of the group members are listed below with the hours they are in. It also includes a sample of one of the amendments that they wrote as part of the project.

Cooper Cords, Eli Hendrickson, & Joey Rossing (1st Hour Winning Group):
The project was to make 5 new amendments that we feel would make America a better place. This amendment assignment was very fun and inspirational. We enjoyed making amendments that could help our country and help solve world problems. It was also good to see that there are ways to overcome these problems. We personally had a lot of fun with it because of the thought behind making the new amendments.

Our second amendment is that People should have the right to a good education.
We have this amendment because we feel it is important to be in a safe environment to get a good education.

Gracie Luna & Alec Wyrum (3rd hour winning group):
Our group, Gracie and Alec, had a lot of fun with this project. We had fun with this assignment because we got to do research about the different amendments and we thought we came up with good added amendments that were smart ideas. This project was a fun and amazing way to learn about the first ten amendments. It was a good way to learn. One of our favorite amendments that we added was that you can have livestock in towns as long as they are in an enclosed area. Thanks for reading!

The Second Added Amendment we have says that you may have livestock in town as long as they are kept in an enclosed area and can not escape. We added this because it is not fair that some people don’t get animals, so as long as they are enclosed, livestock can be in towns.

Klare Liverseed, Sebastien Duffner, & Jaren Surat (6th hour winning group):
Our group and I really enjoyed working on the amendments. We got to experience learning and writing about the amendments. We also worked together and had to have good teamwork to win and complete this assignment. We all equally enjoyed working on this assignment!

Our 1st New Amendment says to better this country we choose to ban all tobacco and vaping products for the safety of our citizens.
