2024 Royalty

NRHEG Homecoming week 2024 kicks off next week. Coronation is set for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24 at the high school gymnasium in New Richland. Parades are scheduled for Friday at 12:30 p.m. in Ellendale and 2:15 p.m. in New Richland. The homecoming game will be Friday at 7 p.m. against Medford. Royalty will be introduced at halftime. An evening homecoming dance from 9 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. in the High School gym will follow the game.

 

Royalty will be crowned based on a vote of the student body, grades 9-12, and will reign over Homecoming week.

 

This year’s court are (parents in parenthesis): Girls: Violet Elise Aronson (Cassie Hill), Hannah Brunsen (Molly Webster), Lia Johannsen (Dustin and Jill Johannsen), Sierra Misgen (Mark and Sara Misgen), Tayla Sandry (David and Sherri Sandry), and Mallory Schlinger, (Matt and Tanya Schlinger). Boys: Owen Bartlett (Jason and Amie Bartlett), Harbor Cromwell (Mike and Nikki Cromwell), Alden Dobberstein (Luke and Brenda Dobberstein), Jayden Fleming (Curt and Jenna Pederson), Cole Hutchens (Rob and Stacy Hutchens), and Jase Knudson (Kevin and Katie Knudson).

 

This year’s Princess and Prince are Princess Leni Routh, daughter of Adam and Missy Routh, and Prince Beckett Budach, son of Nick and Erin Budach.

 

Schedule

Monday: dress up day: Country vs. Country Club; Homecoming Royalty introduced at 6:45 p.m. before the varsity volleyball game at 7:15 p.m.

 

Tuesday: dress up day: Tacky Tourist Day/Hawaiian; Student volleyball tournaments; 7:30 p.m. Coronation in the High School gym *Fall sports coaches will speak.

 

Wednesday: dress up day: PJ Day; student assembly during school day.

 

Thursday: dress up day: Color Wars (color assigned to each grade); football, volleyball and cross country all compete.

 

Friday: dress up day: Panther Spirit day; 8:45 Pep Fest K-5 in Ellendale; 12:30 p.m. parade in Ellendale; 1:30 Pep Fest in New Richland; 2:15 Parade in New Richland; 7 p.m. football game vs. Medford with pep band and alumni. Homecoming Royalty will be introduced @ halftime;

 

9 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Homecoming Dance in the High School gym Cost = $3 per individual, $5 per couple; Admission through the Entrance #17E only. *Students will not have access to the rest of the school or lockers. *Admission closes at 10 p.m.
