Patricia "Trysh" and Peter Olson

Trysh (49) and Peter (68) Olson died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Trysh was born on December 7, 2025, to Diane and Pat Cournoyer in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Peter was born on September 22, 1956, to Jean and Sivert “Steve” Olson in New Richland, Minnesota. Trysh graduated from Rosemount High School in 1994 and Inver Hills Community College in 2022. Peter graduated from New Richland High School in 1975 and from Mankato State University in 1979, where he was also a proud member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Trysh is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Ron Beiswenger, aunt Cathy Adams, uncle Kevin Krueger, and cousin Michelle Becker. Peter is preceded in death by his parents. They leave behind their cherished children, Taylor Olson and Lexi Olson; stepsister Aimee Beiswenger; stepbrother Chet Beiswenger; and nephew Mason Beiswenger, as well as other treasured family and friends.

 

Trysh and Peter both worked in the financial sector for over 50 years combined. They enjoyed karaoke, boating, spending time at Leech Lake, and having a great time together wherever they went. They share a decades-long love story and were busily planning their future together in the days and months leading up to their passing.

 

A funeral will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley, Minnesota.
